A more recent update...

Sorry the post we had back in June is way outdated…so just thought I would let you know what has been going on a little more recently… We found out back in August that we are having a girl… Due December 21, 2007 not the 23rd it was bumped up a few days since we had the ultrasound… (which the further away from Christmas the better). I would like to be home for Christmas. So currently Todd is still managing at good ole Wal Mart and has been there for about 2 ½ years. I went back to Downeast Outfitters this summer as a manager… and it’s been great place to work through the whole pregnancy. I’m currently not in school this semester… for obvious reasons… and Todd is trudging along… working towards his degree in secondary education. Things are getting more and more hectic as these last few weeks wind down til the baby comes. Last week I was called to be a Relief Society teacher (gasp... everyone say your prayers for me). So far everything has been fine with the baby. I’m so excited to meet her…and this blog will be a lot more exciting when we can fill it up with pictures and updates of every little thing she does… it’s possible that we may get out of control (as to be expected with first time parents…right?)

The first time

Well this blog is dedicated to our addition to the family. Baby Welch (sex unknown) due: December 23, 2007. This is our first child and we couldn't be more excited. So far things have gone well. Kim is currently 19 weeks as of July 25 and on Aug 8 we will have our first ultrasound. So far the Dr. says everything looks good... We have heard the heartbeat at our last two appointments. We have names picked out for either a girl or a boy.. either way it doesn't matter. Kim hasn't felt the baby move yet.. which should be any time now... lately she has been feeling weird things... (nothing to be alarmed about) and wonders if it is the quickening... that everybody talks about -- it's really similar to butterflies in your stomach, only this is below the belly button. We will keep you posted on anything we find out and we will post our ultrasound pics soon...
