New Room and Disney on Ice

Reese got her own room. She told us she was tired of sharing a room with Boston because he always woke her up in the morning. She upgraded to a twin bed, Grandma Debbie made her a lalaloopsy quilt, and Grandma Z bought her a fun new light for her room. We painted some fun colorful stripes on her wall.
Disney on Ice. Rapunzel was our favorite part of the show.
The best part of going to see Disney on Ice for Boston was riding the TRAX. We also stayed in a fun hotel with a water park. The kids were in heaven.

Downey Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Egg hunt with Grandma and Grandpa Welch. The kids had a lot of fun attending the city Easter Egg hunt and hunting for treats in the backyard.

Just a few eggs to choose from.

I'm quite a bit behind on updating our blog. I'm going to attempt to catch up.

February

So this is the first time I'm posting straight from my phone. Here's a few random pics from February. Bostons birthday has come and gone. We just had a few family members meet us at the local arcade for some games. We were kind of party poopers and didnt really have a big party. Boston didn't seem to notice.
We've also been working on Reese's room. She's been wanting her own room for a while.
Also a few pics from Valentine's day.

Preschool

So I'm going to attempt to catch up on my blog...

In September Reese started preschool, and she absolutely loves it! The best part Grandma Z is her teacher. We have to drive 1/2 hour 3 days a week for school (which definitely isn't mom's favorite part), but oh well it's just for a year. She even gets to see Grandpa most days since it's at the high school where he is the Principal.
Reese does so awesome in school. She loves to write and socialize with all her friends the very most. When we're in the car on the way home she asks me how to spell a million different words so she can write them down.
All ready for her first day of school, and of course she picked out a lalaloopsy backpack.
Boston is pretty jealous he doesn't get to go to school yet. A couple times a month we help out in class and Boston loves those days since he gets to stay in class with all the kids.

December

These are out of order. For Reese's birthday we went bowling in Preston. Reese had her best friends and cousins there.
 My cute mom and sis-in-law.

Somehow this Christmas picture got mixed up in here. Reese got a very nice dollhouse this year from Santa. Santa spent many, many, many hours painting, sewing curtains, making furniture, and gluing on over a 1000 shingles just to make this little girl very happy on Christmas morning. She wanted a dollhouse big enough for her big lalaloopsy dolls. She love, love, loves it and plays with it every single day.

Our beautiful tree before it died. Seriously by Christmas it was so dry and droopy.
Boston and his beloved monster trucks. He loves Monster Jam and can tell you the name of almost every truck out there.
 Just after Santa came.
Later Christmas day smashing up the pinata at my Grandmas house.

Thanksgiving

Not too many pictures from November. Our city has fireworks the day after Thanksgiving and our house is very close to the fairgrounds where they shoot them off. It's very convenient being able to watch them right out our kitchen window.

Halloween Festivities

So these aren't in order but oh well. We carved pumpkins one night. The kids supplied the ideas of what they wanted and that was about it. They wouldn't even help clean them out... they didn't want to touch the goop. Reese naturally wanted a lalaloopsy and Boston wanted a pirate.
Reese chose to be Belle this year for Halloween. We were kind of surprised by her choice, she never watches Beauty and the Beast or anything and we kept hearing months before she was going to be Rapunzel. She loved her costume but since it was rather chilly I made her a cape to go with it. She loves her cape! She seriously wore it everyday all day for weeks.
Above: at our ward party. The primary kids got up on the stage and did a parade to show and tell about their costumes.

Just like every year we went to Downey to the trunk or treat. Isn't Boston just the cutest pirate! His costume was a last minute decision. He wanted to be Iron man or Spider man when we asked him weeks before. He's supposed to be Jake and the Neverland pirates but we just went with a generic pirate costume.
