Growing, growing, growing..
We are now taking big girl baths... it's a lot easier than trying to do it in her little tub or the sink. Plus we can splash!!! Which Reese thinks is pretty cool.. she actually likes taking baths now.
Check out my new shoes... She had to have some Etnies like mom and dad... When I saw them I just couldn't resist even though she will probably only wear them for a short time.. I just might have to get the same ones in the next size up too!!! I just love them.
She is getting super slobbery!!! Which is always great fun especially when I'm lugging her around somewhere in public and she's been eating part of my shirt.. so I have wet spots all over... she also likes to grab onto my shirt and pull it down so I'm constantly having to adjust my clothes so I don't flash the whole world.
She likes to blow bubbles.. you can't tell from the picture but she would blow bubbles and then a big string of spit would land on Todd.. it was pretty funny that was getting spat on.
She loves to stand up.. I don't know if it's just the better perspective of the world she's getting or what... but she cries when you lay her back down.

An update...
(From left to right top row: Great Grandma Nan, Alisha Jason and Ethan , Grandma and Grandpa, Chris, Brooklyn, Suzy and Mason... Bottom Row: Me, Todd and Reese, Tyler, Justin, Dylan and Cami... and of course Angel.. from this picture you can't see that she's a tri-pod.. she looks like a whole dog)I know that the last few posts have just been a few quick sentences.. I've been trying to get it updated when I can but our internet is never working.. however it's going on two days in a row so I might be safe to write a little more now.
Life has been going really well lately. We had a nice spring break.. (which means daddy didn't have to go to class and could be home with mommy and Reese). We didn't really do anything spectacular. We went down and visited Grandma in Preston and went shopping before she headed off to the Big Apple.
Easter weekend was really nice.. (other than it was my sunday to teach).. as much as I hate to admit it the lessons are getting better and I'm getting less nervous.. I cringe at the thought of other callings that are now becoming available as people move out of the ward... I'm happy where I am only having to prepare something once a month. My plate is full. After church we headed to Preston and went to Sacrament Meeting with grandma and had easter/birthday dinner for grandma and uncle Chris. It was really nice.. ham and twice baked potatoes oh and of course lime cheesecake.. (my favorite!!!). We actually had everyone there (a true miracle) and snapped a family photo.
Reese has been getting so big lately.. she blows lots of bubbles, she hasn't rolled over yet but she's figuring out.. she'll roll all the way over on her side and just lays there to play with her toys. Anything she can get in her hands she is tasting.. She talks and talks and laughs and laughs.. it melts my heart when she giggles. She lays on her tummy and just kicks and kicks.. I think she will we a quick learner when it comes to crawling.. she's got all the movements down.. she just has to figure out that she's stuck high centered on her belly. That will be the biggest obstacle getting that gut off the floor. She just turned three months on the 28th of March.
Uncle Thomas got to baby sit Reese all by himself for a few hours last saturday sine I had to work later and Todd had to go to work. Everyone survived... I came home to a soggy bum I had to change.. Thomas claimed he didn't smell anything.. but we all know he wasn't going to bother with changing her bum... poor girl she was swimming.
On friday we get to go down to Todd's mission reunion in Bountiful and show her off to all his mission buddies. Last year at this time we were in South Jordan to his last mission reunion and there were only a couple babies. I'm anticipating more this time around. Little did we know we were actually expecting at the time as we were getting the word from his mission president to not wait to have children. That the lord would bless us if we started our families asap.
Hopefully the internet keeps working.. it drives me nuts not being able to get on here everyday to do updates and check out everyone's.

Easter...
Our cute little baby and her easter basket... some books, a new outfit and lamb.... she looks thrilled don't you think
This little bunny found a carrot... and likes her new books...
Our internet is actually working for a second so I'm quickly posting some of our Easter pics. Reese found a surprise from the Easter bunny...We also went to Downey and Preston for Easter to spend some time with the grandparents. It ended up being a really nice day... with some great food and candy. Sorry I'll write more when I know the internet won't cut out at any second.

Hoppy St. Patricks Day...
Ok, so it's not quite Easter yet.. we should be doing something for St. Patty's Day... but they don't exactly have a leprechaun in the mall (she is at least wearing green). When Reese and Todd came and visited me at work today I thought maybe she should get here picture taken with the cheesy Easter Bunny. I think Todd said it only took like 4-5 tries to get her actually smiling and looking at the camera... thanks to Todd jingling his keys. I love that she is easily entertained.

Our funny little girl...
I know this isn't the greatest quality... but whenever I bust out the video camera she stops whatever she is doing that we want to capture and is immediately distracted by the camera.. so I had to use my phone... she absolutely loves her dad... He uses her as his little puppet to make her dance to certain songs and for some reason whenever she does this one she just cracks right up... we've tried others like the macarana (sp) and soldier boy... not quite as fun for her I guess...
In the last little while...
So not too much has been going on lately... Reese's head has been really dry and flaky so we've been making sure to scrub all those flakes on in the tub... it really is quite gross... I'll be glad when she grows out of the flaky head stage. It doesn't seem to bother her though thank heavens... especially when I brush her hair 10 times a day to brush the flakes out.
It is nice to be able to know what she wants -- where as before it was mostly a guessing game which sometimes it still is... but she is falling into somewhat of a routine... eat, play, fussy, sleep... I'm also glad that she is such a cuddler... it cracks me up when she gets so fussy that all you have to do is put a binky in her mouth and magically her eyes close and she is zonked out for a little while...
Yes I know her hair is quite wild. It honestly sticks out in every direction and has not curl or wave what so ever... reminds me a lot of my own hair... at least she has hair I suppose... She is still such a doll with her mad scientist hair...

Knock on wood...
I was happy to report at our last doctor appointment that Reese hadn't been sick yet... well so much for that. Sunday I felt sick thinking it was just allergies... no such luck... hello flu!!! Reese picked up the same symptoms yesterday and all day today I've been sucking boogers out of her nose with the booger sucker thing and inhaling the wonderful vapors from the humidifier. It stinks to be sick and taking care of someone else that is sick. Thankfully Todd isn't at the moment he is wonderful to get me more Kleenex's and cold medicine.

Our Growing Girl...
Pretty happy girl... she smiles all the time now... big toothless smiles!!! Her hair is also looking a little red somedays...
I know she looks kind of dorky with her onsie's sleeves hanging out... but this dress is a 6month and I had anticipated it being a lot warmer before she started wearing it... oh well. She still is pretty cute.
On the 28th we went in for Reese's 2 month checkup. She is know weighing in at a whopping 13lbs 12 oz and 24 1/2 inches long. When we got there the nurse was joking about how much she was eating and that she 'obviously' never spits anything up. The doctor also joked that she looks like she is here for her 4 month appointment. She is our big girl. She also had to get her first round of immunizations... I think I was more scared than she was -- most likely because she didn't know what was going to happen to her. She cried while they were giving her the shots... but for only about 10 seconds after. She was such a good girl (she was also drugged up on Tylenol... so that may have also contributed to her good behavior).
